KIAC Softball Tournament Update: Venue changed to Kamauf Park

***UPDATE at 1:15 pm CT*** -- We are set to begin play at 1:30 pm CT with the first game of the day in the Loser's Bracket (Point Park vs. Carlow). #1 Rio Grande vs. #2 IU Southeast to follow.
OWENSBORO, Ky. -- Day 2 of the KIAC Softball Tournament has had its venue shifted to Brescia (Ky.) University's Kamauf Park instead of where Day 1 was played at Panther Creek Park.
Kamauf Park is located 5400 Todd Bridge Road, Owensboro, Ky., 42301. There will be one game played at a time with Kamauf Park housing Brescia's home field as opposed to the multiple fields at Panther Creek Park.
The first game of the day will be No. 3 Point Park vs. No. 4 Carlow at 12:30 p.m. CT at Kamauf Park. The loser's will be eliminated after that game.
The second game of the day will be the winner's bracket final between No. 1 Rio Grande and No. 2 IU Southeast with a game time TBA.
The rest of the tournament would include a loser's bracket final between the Point Park-Carlow winner versus the Rio Grande-IU Southeast loser with a time TBA.
Then there will be two teams left with the championship games, including an "if necessary game" to finish things out with a TBA game time for the championship round.
