KIAC Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week: Jryi Davis (Point Park)
FLORENCE, Ky. -- Point Park University sophomore jumper Jryi Davis won the triple jump for the second week in a row to repeat as the KIAC Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week award winner for March 28-April 3.
Davis, from Bangor, Pa., placed first in the triple jump at the Slippery Rock Dave Labor Invitational. He did so with a leap of 13.62 meters. It was the second week in a row that he won the event at an NCAA Division II meet, just like he did the week before at the Cal U Early Bird.
Point Park's next scheduled meet is April 9 at the Mt. Union Jim Wuske Invitational.
