KIAC Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week: Kristen Miller (IU East)
FLORENCE, Ky. -- IU East jumper Kristen Miller placed in both the triple jump and long jump at the Hanover College Invitational to earn KIAC Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week honors for March 28-April 3.
The sophomore from Ottawa, Ohio, set an IU East record in triple jump. Her leap of 10.26 meters placed fourth, and it was her first time competing in the event. Miller also placed in the long jump with a distance of 4.67 meters for sixth place.
IU East will visit the Taylor Invitational this Saturday, April 9.
