Rio Grande wins KIAC Men's Track & Field Championship again
RESULTS
RIO GRANDE, Ohio -- University of Rio Grande won its second straight KIAC Men's Track & Field Championship Meet on Saturday at its campus.
Rio Grande amassed 259 points to top the field of seven KIAC teams.
Nikola Andjelic led Rio Grande to the team championship by being named the KIAC Male Most Valuable Performer of the Meet.
Point Park University placed second for the second year in a row. Indiana University East was third led by Seth Reynolds, the KIAC Male Newcomer of the Year.
Rio Grande's Bob Willey was named the KIAC Coach of the Year. Kyle Sanborn was named the KIAC Comeback Player of the Year.
Complete results are available at the link above. The top three finishers in each event earned KIAC Men's Track & Field All-Conference honors.
The KIAC Men's Track & Field Champions of Character Team was selected with one member of each team chosen who best exhibits the five character values of the NAIA's Champions of Character program of respect, responsibility, integrity, servant leadership and sportsmanship.
