No. 3 Xavier beats IU Southeast at Unaffiliated Men's Tennis Tournament

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The IU Southeast men's tennis team lost 5-0 to the third-ranked Xavier (La.) Gold Rush on Friday, May 6 in the NAIA Unaffailiated Group Tournament.

Xavier (14-6) jumped out to a 3-0 lead by sweeping doubles play. Nick Roby andTrent Wallace lost 8-1 at No. 1 doubles, Bryson Mills and Jacob Rankin lost 8-1 and Jonathan James and Chris Braun lost a competitive match 8-4.

Kevin Chaouat defeated Trent Wallace 6-0, 6-2 and Thomas Setodji clinched the match with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Jacob Rankin.

The IU Southeast men's tennis team finishes the season with a 15-12 record.
