Coming July 1: KIAC will become the River States Conference

FLORENCE, Ky. -- We are just one day away from an historic event coming about for the oldest conference in the NAIA. On July 1, 2016, the KIAC will officially become the River States Conference!

Founded in 1916, the KIAC is the oldest conference in the NAIA having reached its 100-year milestone this year. As we usher in a rebranding of the conference to best reflect the current membership, we invite you to partake in the change on Friday.

A redesigned conference website will launch on Friday morning. Our web partners SIDHelp have done a tremendous job on the new site, and it will provide a great source of pride and be the primary branding tool as we move forward as the River States Conference.

Check in on Friday, July 1 for the official launch of the River States Conference and the new website. There will also be updates about our social media channels on Facebook and Twitter and about video streaming platform on Stretch Internet.

For more information on the historic change for our conference, look back at the March 4, 2016 news conference held at IU Southeast, which unveiled the new conference name and logo.

A video archive of the press conference is on our Stretch Internet portal, and the press release is at the KIACSports.com at the links below.
