Brescia's Jones picks up RSC Volleyball Attacker of the Week honors
FLORENCE, Ky. -- Freshman outside hitter Natalie Jones had a big debut for Brescia (Ky.) University and earned River States Conference Volleyball Attacker of the Week honors for Aug. 29.
The Owensboro, Ky., native played all six rotations during the Bearcats' matches at the Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) Invitational over the weekend and led the team in kills and digs in every match.
Jones tallied 59 kills and 33 digs in the tournament with an average of nearly 20 kills per match. The highlight featured 29 kills and 12 digs versus Campellsville and 17 kills versus Union.
