Brescia's Jones named RSC Volleyball Attacker of the Week
FLORENCE, Ky. -- Brescia (Ky.) University's Natalie Jones had a big week of kills and was named River States Conference Volleyball Attacker of the Week for Sept. 5-11.
A freshman from Owensboro, Ky., Jones tallied 84 kills in five matches as Brescia went 4-1 on the week. She had more than 20 kills in three matches, including 22 kills and 17 digs in a win over Salem International.
Jones also recorded 20 kills and 19 digs in a win over Glenville State and 21 kills in a win over Bluefield (Va.). She hit .311 for the week with 5.25 kills and 4.06 digs per set.
Jones currently ranks 11th in the NAIA in kills per set. Brescia (5-5) has its next game Sept. 13 at home versus Kentucky Wesleyan.
