FLORENCE, Ky. -- This week's installment of the River States Conference Game of the Week puts in the spotlight on a rematch of last year's conference tournament finals volleyball. IU Kokomo visits Point Park University for an RSC matchup on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 12 pm ET for the #RSCgotw.

Live video will be available on Stretch Internet, the official video-streaming provider of the River States Conference and the NAIA. Coverage link available on the RSC Game Central portal and the Point Park Sports Network.

IU Kokomo is off to a 7-2 record in 2016, which is picking up where it left off of last year's campaign of 34-5, 11-1 KIAC. The Cougars won the KIAC Tournament championship with a 3-1 win over Point Park in the finals. Point Park won the first set, but IUK won the match, 14-25, 25-13, 25-17, 25-20.

Point Park is off to a 4-12 record having played a tough schedule to date. The Pioneers followed a similar path last year but ended up with an NAIA national tournament qualification by reaching the conference finals.

Saturday's matchup is the opening of River States Conference play for both teams. With the teams in opposite divisions -- IU Kokomo in the RSC West and Point Park in the RSC East -- it is the only matchup for the schools in the regular season. The Cougars won the regular-season meeting last year at home, 3-0 (25-15, 25-20, 25-18).

IU Kokomo's top player is Lindi Thomas with 110 kills and 114 digs in nine matches. Kaleigh Ensley leads the back row with 137 digs, and Keeana Walton has 29.0 total blocks at the net.

Point Park has Shiloh Simonson with a team-high 125 kills alongside Ashley Taylor with 121 and Madeline Poirer with 100. Setter Emily Meng has 89 kills on the year. Nikki Inquartano leads the conference with 62.0 blocks.
