WVU Tech's Moles named RSC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week

FLORENCE, Ky. -- WVU Tech goalkeeper Hunter Moles went 2-0 in net to earn River States Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for Sept. 19.

The 6-4 senior from South Charleston, W.Va., posted a shutout of Shawnee State in a 2-0 victory and also came up with a win over fellow NAIA Top 25 "receiving votes" team Georgia Gwinnett, 4-3.

Moles made two saves in the win over Shawnee State and three saves in the victory at Georgia Gwinnett. WVU Tech is 5-1-1 on the year with Moles earning all seven starts in goal and giving up nine total goals.

The Golden Bears host Marygrove (Mich.) on Sept. 20 for their next game.
