IU Southeast's Hannah Barker earns RSC Volleyball Setter of the Week
FLORENCE, Ky. -- IU Southeast senior Hannah Barker earned River States Conference Volleyball Setter of the Week Sept. 26 as part of the Grenadiers going 2-0 from Sept. 19-25.
Barker, a 5-1 native of Seymour, Ind., picked up the honor for the second time this season by putting up 107 assists in two five-set victories on the week. She also added 10 kills, 18 digs and three aces on the week.
Barker picked up 51 assists, five kills and six digs in a 3-2 win over Asbury (K.) in RSC play. She also had a big match with 56 assists, five kills and 12 digs in a 3-2 victory over Oakland City. She averaged 10.70 assists per set and hit .304 on the attack.
For the year, Barker has 439 assists for an average of 9.15 per set (ranked 49th in NAIA). IU Southeast (7-6, 1-0 RSC) has its next match Sept. 29 at home versus Spalding at 7 p.m.
