IU Southeast's Keene digs RSC Volleyball Defender of the Week honor

FLORENCE, Ky. -- IU Southeast freshman Natalie Keene had a big week to earn River States Conference Volleyball Defender of the Week Sept. 26 for her play in two matches Sept. 19-25.

The 5-1 native of Louisville, Ky., totaled 60 digs to lead IU Southeast to a 2-0 week. She started out with 33 digs in a big, five-set win over Asbury in RSC action. She also put up 27 digs in a five-set win over Oakland City.

Keene averaged 6.00 digs per set. She also had a service percentage of .842 and a reception percentage of .984. For the year, Keene has a team-high 193 digs for an average of 4.2 digs per set.

IU Southeast is 7-6 overall, 1-0 RSC and has its next match Sept. 29 at home versus Spalding at 7 p.m.
