Asbury's Emily Hubbuch scores RSC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
FLORENCE, Ky. -- Asbury University forward Emily Hubbuch had a big week of scoring to pick up River States Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week honors for Aug. 29-Sept. 4.
The sophomore from Shepherdsville, Ky., scored four goals and eight points in two victories as Asbury stayed unbeaten at 4-0.
Hubbuch notched a hat trick in a 4-1 win over Berea in the most-recent game. She also scored less than one minute into a 4-0 win over Pikeville (Ky.) to set the tone early on.
She has started all four games thus far for Asbury and leads the conference with six goals and 12 points. The Eagles play next Sept. 7 at home versus No. 25 Cumberland (Tenn.).
