RICHMOND, Ind. -- A matchup of division leaders takes center stage for the River States Conference Women's Basketball Game of the Week when IU Kokomo (14-6, 7-1 RSC) visits No. 21-ranked IU East (16-4, 7-0 RSC) on Tuesday, Jan. 17 at 6 p.m. ET in Richmond, Ind.

IU East leads the RSC East Division with an unbeaten conference record while IU Kokomo has just one RSC loss and leads the RSC West. Both teams are on a winning roll with the Red Wolves winners of six straight and the Cougars winners of five of their last six. Since the end of November, IU East is 12-1, and IU Kokomo is 11-2.

IU East has the top offense in the conference leading the RSC in just about every offensive category including scoring, assists and all the shooting stats. The Red Wolves are in the top 10 nationally in field-goal shooting, 3-point shooting and free-throw shooting and rank ninth in scoring at 81.9 ppg. Guard Tia King leads the RSC and ranks 14th in the nation at 18.2 ppg.

IU Kokomo has one of the top defenses in the conference ranking second in scoring defense at 58.6 ppg and third in field-goal defense at .370. The Cougars have guard Deja Felder leading the team with 13.6 ppg followed by forward Whitney Williamson at 11.0 ppg.

IU East has won all three meetings in the series with IU Kokomo, which dates back to 2014-15. The Red Wolves are 10-0 at home, and IU Kokomo is 6-4 on the road.
