#RSCgotw Men's Basketball: IU Kokomo at Ohio Christian -- Jan. 21 at 3 p.m. ET

CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio -- IU Kokomo visits Ohio Christian for the River States Conference Men's Basketball Game of the Week on Saturday, January 21 at 3 p.m. ET from Circleville, Ohio.

Ohio Christian is the hottest team in the conference with six straight wins and five straight conference wins to get its record up to 11-10 overall, 5-3 RSC.

IU Kokomo will be the latest team that will try to cool off the Trailblazers although it will have to end a streak of its own to do so. The Cougars are 9-12 overall, 4-5 RSC after four straight losses, but they are still very much within the divisional race.

It is the only meeting of the year between the cross-division opponents. Ohio Christian is in third place in the RSC East Division trying to keep pace with No. 11 IU East (8-1 RSC) and WVU Tech (7-1 RSC). IU Kokomo is tied with Asbury (4-5 RSC) for second place in the RSC West.

Ohio Christian has guard Marquis Jackson leading the conference in scoring, assists, steals and 3-point field goals made. He averages 23.8 ppg. Forward Gary Hoover is the RSC rebounding leader and averages a double-double of 13.4 ppg and 10.2 rpg.

IU Kokomo counters with Trent Elliott averaging 21.5 ppg in a game that features the top two scorers in the conference. Forward Durante Lee is just under double figures at 9.3 ppg.
