IU East's Spivey claims RSC Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week Jan. 23-29
FLORENCE, Ky. -- IU East high jumper Trisha Spivey leaped her way to River States Conference Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week Jan. 23-29 for her performance at the Trine Invitational.
Spivey, a sophomore from Liberty, Ind., led the Red Wolves team by placing second in the high jump. She did so with a height of 1.58 meters. That puts her ranked 29th in the NAIA for indoor this year.
IU East competes next Feb. 4 at the Midwest Classic Invitational hosted by Indiana Wesleyan University.
