IU Southeast's Sipe selected RSC Setter of the Week for third time
NEW ALBANY, Ind. -- IU Southeast freshman Hannah Sipe was selected as River States Conference Volleyball Setter of the Week for Oct. 9-15, the third time this year she got the honor.
A 5-6 native of Seymour, Ind., Sipe averaged 10.00 assists per set in six matches on the week. IU Southeast went 4-2 for the week, and she had 210 assists in all. Sipe also added 32 digs, 10 kills, 6 service aces and 4 blocks.
Her biggest match was 46 assists and 13 digs in a five-setter versus Huntington (Ind.). There were also 42 assists and 4 kills in a 3-1 win over Lawrence Tech. Of the six matches, five of them included over 30 assists.
IU Southeast improved to 14-13 overall and 8-1 RSC. The Grenadiers host Asbury on Tuesday night.
