IU East's Yoder gets another RSC Volleyball Defender of the Week award

NEW ALBANY, Ind. -- IU East senior Madison Yoder kept the Red Wolves in first place in their division and once again claimed River States Conference Volleyball Defender of the Week Sept. 24-Oct. 1.

A senior from Indianapolis, Ind., Yoder collected 70 digs in three matches as IU East stayed in first place in the RSC East Division at 5-1 RSC. She also posted a reception percentage of .912 and a serve percentage of .857 on the week.

Yoder put up 20 digs and an ace in a 3-0 victory over Ohio Christian. She then had 31 assists and an ace in a 3-1 loss to IU Kokomo. The final match of the week included 19 digs and four assists in a 3-1 victory over CCU.

IU East is now 11-14 overall, 5-1 RSC and plays at the Ohio Christian quad match Oct. 7 for its next matches.
