IU Southeast's Sipe repeats as RSC Volleyball Setter of the Week

NEW ALBANY, Ind. -- IU Southeast's Hannah Sipe kept the Grenadiers' win streak going to earn River States Conference Volleyball Setter of the Week Sept. 24-Oct. 1.

Sipe, a freshman from Seymour, Ind., won the award for the second week in a row by picking up 98 assists and 17 digs in three matches on the week. That led the Grenadiers to a 3-0 RSC performance on the week and increased their win streak to six in a row.

She averaged 9.80 assists and 1.70 digs per set while hitting .353 on the attack. There were 31 assists in a 3-0 win over CCU, 49 assists and 11 assists in a 3-2 victory over WVU Tech and then 18 assists and four digs in a sweep of Rio Grande.

IU Southeast is 6-11 overall, 3-1 RSC and hosts Brescia Oct. 3 for its next match.
