IU Kokomo's Thor picks up another RSC Women's XC Runner of the Week honor
NEW ALBANY, Ind. -- IU Kokomo junior Taryn Thor had a high placement at the Greater Louisville Classic to pick up River States Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week Sept. 24-Oct. 1. She led all RSC runners of the four conference teams in that race.
A junior from Kokomo, Ind., Thor claimed her second RSC weekly honor of the year by placing third of 304 runners in the silver race at Louisville. Her time of 18:40 in the 5K gave her the highest placement ever for an IU Kokomo runner at the meet, which included many runners higher divisions of collegiate cross country.
The Cougars compete at the Jenna Strong Classic hosted by Wilmington on Oct. 13 as their next meet.
