NOTABLE QUOTABLE

"Best birthday ever! This is awesome. I really love how my teammates and I worked. We knew (IU Kokomo) was a veteran team, that they were going to come out and be scrappy, but we fought hard for this and fought hard to win this. Especially with this tournament being on our home court, we really wanted to show what this program is all about." - Bree Kopke, who turned 20 on Nov. 11.

"Our girls learned how to handle those rougher points in the game and come together (over the course of the season). They kept their composure - that was our word the last couple of weeks, composure."

"I'm so proud of these girls. This was always their goal, so I'm really proud that they got to this point and took it." - IU East coach Abby Niekamp
