Alice Lloyd's Dalton picks up RSC Men's Basketball Player of the Week
NEW ALBANY, Ind. -- Alice Lloyd (Ky.) College freshman Timmy Dalton averaged 29.0 points per game last week to pick up River States Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for Nov. 6-12. It is the first men's basketball weekly award given this year.
A 6-3 guard from Louisa, Ky., Dalton also averaged 8.5 rebounds per game and shot 59.5 percent from the floor and 75 percent from the foul line. He made 22 of 37 field goals and 9 of 12 free throws on the week.
He poured in a high of 38 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in a 98-81 win over Milligan (Tenn.) to highlight the week. That game included four 3-pointers made. Dalton also scored 20 points in a 113-96 win over Kentucky Christian to start the week.
Alice Lloyd is 4-0 and plays its next game versus Miami Middleton on Friday.
