SPRING ARBOR, Mich. -- Asbury (Ky.) University is taking on No. 2 overall seed Spring Arbor (Mich.) University in the NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship Opening Round on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 3 p.m. ET. Asbury is making its third appearance in the NAIA national tournament after winning the RSC Tournament last weekend.

Asbury is 14-4-1 overall and 6-2-1 RSC. The Eagles defeated Rio Grande (Ohio), 3-0, in the conference finals to punch their ticket to NAIA nationals. The Eagles are in the NAIA field for the first time since 2013.

Asbury drew a top team with Spring Arbor (19-1-1) as the No. 2 seed in the 31-team tournament that begins Nov. 18 at 15 campus sites around the country. Spring Arbor was the 2016 NAIA national champion and is in the national tournament for the ninth time overall and the eighth year in a row.
