RSC Men's Cross Country Championship Meet: Nov. 4 at Asbury (Ky.)

UPDATE: The official and final results for the 2017 RSC Men's Cross Country Championship are at the link above. Ohio Christian University is the team and champion. OCU and runner-up Point Park (Pa.) University are the team qualifiers to the NAIA National Championship Meet Nov. 18 in Vancouver, Wash., from the conference. The top six finishers not from OCU or PPU also advance to the national meet. A full recap will be posted at RiverStatesConference.com along with all-conference honorees and award winners.

2017 RIVER STATES CONFERENCE MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP PREVIEW
WILMORE, Ky. -- The 2017 River States Conference Men's Cross Country Championship Meet will be held on Saturday, Nov. 4 in Wilmore, Ky. The meet will be hosted by Asbury (Ky.) University.

The men's 8,000-meter race is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. The meet starts with the USA national anthem at 10 a.m. followed by the women's 5,000-meter race at 10:15 a.m. All 12 RSC teams will be in attendance with the top two qualifying for the NAIA National Championship meet along with select individuals.

Individual qualifiers for NAIA nationals will consist of the top six finishers not from the first- or second-place teams who finish in the top 20 individual placements.

All-River States Conference First Team honors will be awarded to the top seven finishers in the race with the placements of eighth through 14th place earning All-RSC Second Team accolades.
