Brescia's Logsdon garners RSC Volleyball Defender of the Week

NEW ALBANY, Ind. -- Brescia (Ky.) University libero Kristin Logsdon had a big match in a key conference victory to garner River States Conference Volleyball Defender of the Week for Oct. 30-Nov. 5.

A freshman from Robards, Ky., Logsdon totaled 31 digs in the only match of the week for Bearcats, a 3-2 victory over IU Southeast. That win secured the No. 2 playoff seed out of the RSC West Divsion for Brescia.

Logsdon had a serve percentage of 1.000 during the match, and she had a reception percentage of .929 with two errors in 28 passes. For the year, she has 622 digs to lead the conference and set a single-season record at Brescia.

Brescia (22-13, 13-3 RSC) plays its next match Nov. 10 versus WVU Tech in the quarterfinals of the RSC Tournament held at IU East Nov. 10-11.
