Asbury advances to NAIA National Championship Opening Round as RSC Tournament champion.

NEW ALBANY, Ind. -- The 2017 River States Conference Women's Soccer Tournament qualifiers and bracket are set with playoff competition to take place Nov. 4, 8, 11 at campus sites around the conference.

The higher seed will host each game of the tournament, which had the top six teams in the standings qualify. The No. 1 and 2 seeds receive byes into the semifinals Nov. 8 with quarterfinal action kicking off Nov. 4. The RSC Tournament championship game will be Nov. 11 hosted by the highest remaining seed.

WVU Tech (12-5-1, 7-1-1 RSC) is the No. 1 seed as the RSC regular-season champion. The Golden Bears are tied for the most overall wins in the conference and were beaten just once in conference play. WVU Tech awaits is semifinal opponent at home on Nov. 8 at 5 p.m.

Asbury (Ky.) University (12-4-1, 6-2-1 RSC) claimed the No. 2 tournament seed and also has a bye into the semifinals. The Eagles have 12 overall victories just like WVU Tech and will host a semifinal game Nov. 8 at 7 p.m.

Point Park (Pa.) University (8-8-1, 5-3-1 RSC) took the No. 3 seed to earn a home game in the quarterfinal round. The Pioneers, the conference tournament champions of the last two years, are 5-1 at home and will host No. 6 seed Ohio Christian University (7-8-1, 4-4-1 RSC) on Nov. 4 at 7 p.m., a rematch of last year's conference championship game at OCU. The Trailblazers beat Point Park at home, 3-2, earlier this year.

University of Rio Grande (Ohio) (8-8-1, 5-3-1 RSC) is the No. 4 seed and will play at home in the quarterfinals as well. The RedStorm hosts No. 5 seed Cincinnati Christian (8-7-3, 4-3-2 RSC) on Nov. 4 at 5 p.m. It was Rio Grande's big, 2-1, overtime victory over CCU late in the season that earned it the No. 4 seed. Cincinnati Christian moved up to the Nov. 5 seed with a big win at Midway, 5-2, to end the regular season.
