#RSCgotw Women's Basketball: Rio Grande at WVU Tech -- Sat, Feb. 4 @ 1 pm ET

MONTGOMERY, W.Va. -- A key game in a heated divisional race takes the stage for the River States Conference Women's Basketball Game of the Week when University of Rio Grande (16-9, 7-5 RSC) visits WVU Tech (16-8, 8-4 RSC) on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 1 p.m. ET.

The RedStorm and Golden Bears are two of the four teams battling for the final three playoff spots in the RSC East Division. Also involved are (RV) Ohio Christian (8-4 RSC) and Point Park (7-5 RSC), both of which play twice this weekend. That leaves Rio Grande and WVU Tech not wanting to lose ground to the group with just two weeks left in the regular season after Saturday.

WVU Tech won the previous meeting between the two teams, 86-72, on the road Jan. 14. The Golden Bears have won six of their last seven conference games, including that one. WVU Tech lost to Shawnee State in its last game Tuesday night, 82-65.

Rio Grande has won four of its last five games, including two in a row. The RedStorm beat CCU in its last RSC game, 96-72, on the road last Saturday, followed up by a 106-91 win at non-conference Salem International on Tuesday.
