IU East's Boles leaps to RSC Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week
FLORENCE, Ky. -- IU East jumper Mackenzie Boles took home River States Conference Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week Jan. 30-Feb. 5 for her performance at the Midwest Classic.
Boles, a junior from Lapel, Ind., turned in two Top 10 finishes at the meet Feb. 4. She was eighth in the long jump at 5.04 meters as the first athlete in school history to surpass 5.00 meters.
Boles was also 10th in the high jump with a height of 1.50 meters. The Red Wolves are in action again Feb. 11 at the Taylor Trojan Invitational.
