Midway's Lawler claims RSC Women's Golfer of the Week March 20-26
FLORENCE, Ky. -- Midway University junior Kathryn Lawler shot two rounds in the 80s to claim River States Conference Women's Golfer of the Week honors March 20-26.
Lawler, from Georgetown, Ky., shot a final-round 80 at the Tennessee Wesleyan Bojangles Invitational to finish 14th of 60 golfers at the tournament. She opened up with an 86 in the first round.
The Midway team placed seventh on the team leaderboard. The Eagles host the Midway Spring Invitational for their next event April 10-11.
