Point Park's DiPardo claims RSC Men's Golfer of the Week April 3-9
FLORENCE, Ky. -- Point Park (Pa.) University sophomore Gino DiPardo placed fifth out of 50 golfers at the CMU Shootout to claim River States Conference Men's Golfer of the Week April 3-9.
DiPardo, from Carnegie, Pa., shot 4-over 148 for the 54-hole tournament this past weekend and was just three shots off of medalist honors. He opened with a 76 and then fired an even-par 72 in the final round. He led Point Park to a second-place finish out of nine team.
Point Park's next tournament is April 13 at home versus Carlow (Pa.) for a dual match at Quicksilver Golf Club.
