IU Southeast's Gray notches RSC Softball Pitcher of the Week April 10-16
FLORENCE, Ky. -- IU Southeast sophomore Emily Gray tossed a four-hit shutout of Oakland City to notch River States Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week April 10-16.
Gray, from Jeffersonville, Ind., beat Oakland City, 7-0, by limiting the visitors to four hits over seven innings. She racked up eight strikeouts versus zero walks in the outing.
For the year, Gray is 8-7 with a 2.90 ERA in a team-high 118.1 innings pitched. IU Southeast is 16-18 overall, 5-5 RSC and plays at Ohio Christian for its next games April 21.
