Point Park, Asbury's McCurry tee it up at NAIA Men's Golf National Championship

SILVIS, Ill. -- River States Conference Tournament champion Point Park (Pa.) University and individual medalist qualifier Matthew McCurry of Asbury (Ky.) University are teeing it up at the NAIA Men's Golf National Championship May 16-19 at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill.

Point Park is one of 29 teams competing in the 72-hole tournament, and the Pioneers qualified as the RSC Tournanment champion via the conference's automatic qualification. McCurry, a junior, won the individual conference championship and is one of 11 individual qualifiers to NAIAs.

The Point Park team and McCurry have the same tee times for the first and second rounds, which are May 16 at 1:20 p.m. from hole No. 10 and May 17 at 8:40 a.m. from hole No. 1. New pairings will be drawn for the third round, and there is a cut after 54 holes.
