CCU's Blair takes home RSC Softball Player of the Week April 24-30
FLORENCE, Ky. -- Cincinnati Christian University catcher Bailey Blair homered three times in six games last week to earn River States Conference Softball Player of the Week honors from April 24-30.
A sophomore from Rineyville, Ky., Blair batted .368 (7 for 19) with five of her hits going for extra bases and three going over the fence. She also scored six runs, walked once and collected eight RBIs as the Eagles went 4-2 on the week, all in conference play.
For the season, Blair is hitting .373 with 10 home runs and 45 RBIs to rank in the top three of the conference in homers and RBIs. CCU (18-16, 8-10 RSC) is the No. 6 seed in the upcoming RSC Softball Tournament that will be held May 5-6 in Vienna, W.Va.
