IU East's Yoder is the RSC Volleyball Defender of the Week

NEW ALBANY, Ind. -- IU East's Madison Yoder collected 91 digs in four matches last week to earn River States Conference Volleyball Defender of the Week for Sept. 4-10.

A 5-5 senior from Indianapolis, Ind., Yoder, averaged 5.69 digs per set as the Red Wolves went 2-2 on the week. She also served at 87.2-percent accuracy and had a reception percentage of 88.9.

Yoder matched a career-high with 37 digs in a five-set match versus Bluffton. She also posted 22 digs in five sets versus Earlham and 18 and 14 digs, respectively, in 3-0 wins over Pikeville and Capital.

IU East (5-12) hosts Anderson for its next match on Tuesday.
