IU Kokomo's Thor races to RSC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week
NEW ALBANY, Ind. -- IU Kokomo junior Taryn Thor placed 10th overall at the Indiana Intercollegiates to earn River States Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for Sept. 11-17.
Thor, a native of Kokomo, Ind., had a time of 23 minutes, 26 seconds in the 6K race. She was competing against many NCAA Division I runners from across the state of Indiana. There were a total of 117 runners in the field.
The Cougars will next compete Sept. 30 at the Greater Louisville Classic.
