WVU Tech's Everett nabs RSC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
NEW ALBANY, Ind. -- WVU Tech freshman goalkeeper Lewis Everett had a big week in goal to nab River States Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week Aug. 28-Sept. 3.
Everett, from London, England, averged 6.50 saves per game in two games on the week. He made six saves in a 0-0 (2OT) tie versus Taylor (Ind.). It was a shutout in 110 minutes. Everett then made seven saves in a 1-0 loss to Marygrove (Mich.) in 90 minutes.
