Asbury's Settle picks up RSC Volleyball Defender of the Week
NEW ALBANY, Ind. -- Asbury (Ky.) University libero Bailee Settle came up big in a couple of non-conference wins to earn River States Conference Volleyball Defender of the Week for Aug. 28-Sept. 3.
Settle, a senior from Festus, Mo., put up 7.86 digs per set as the Eagles beat (RV) Union (Ky.) and Cumberlands (Ky.) on the week. She collected 24 digs in a 3-1 win over Union and 31 digs in a sweep of Cumberlands. Her serve percentage was .943, and her receive percentage was .952.
Asbury (5-1) has its next match Thursday at (RV) Campbellsville (Ky.).
