WVU Tech's McCall is RSC Volleyball Attacker of the Week
NEW ALBANY, Ind. -- WVU Tech's Lauren McCall led the offense for the Golden Bears and is the River States Conference Volleyball Attacker of the Week for Aug. 28-Sept. 3.
The freshman from Newton, N.C., she had a total of 48 kills in four matches at the Marietta Classic, where the Golden Bears went 3-1. McCall averaged 3.43 kills and 3.00 digs for the week and hit .237.
Her biggest match of the week was 20 kills and 14 digs in a five-setter versus Hiram. There were also 11 kills and 10 digs versus College of St. Joseph.
WVU Tech (6-1) has its next match Tuesday versus Appalachian Bible College.
