WVU Tech's Pateli gets RSC Volleyball Setter of the Week
NEW ALBANY, Ind. -- WVU Tech sophomore Konstantina Pateli had a big week of setting to get River States Conference Volleyball Setter of the Week Aug. 28-Sept. 3.
A native of Athens, Greece, Pateli averaged 10.36 assists per set to lead the Golden Bears to a 3-1 record at the Marietta Classic. She also collected 51 digs and six service aces in the four matches.
A week-high of 41 assists came in a 3-0 win over College of St. Joseph (Ind.). She had 37 assists and 23 digs in a sweep of Thiel for another big match. She ranks third in the NAIA with 11.6 assists per set.
WVU Tech (6-1) has its next match Tuesday versus Appalachian Bible College.
