Brescia's Kyle Robinson receives recognition from NAIA for Champions of Character honor
OWENSBORO, Ky. -- Brescia (Ky.) University senior Kyle Robinson has received recognition from the NAIA as a result of his honor as the River States Conference Bill Melton Champions of Character Award and his being nominated for the NAIA's Leroy Walker Champions of Character award by the RSC.
Robinson, a member of Brescia's cross country and track and field teams, was the RSC's awardee n 2018-19 for the Bill Melton Award. It annually selects one male and one female student-athlete in the conference who is recognized for excellence in academics, athletics and the embodiment of the NAIA Champions of Character values.
Robinson was the RSC nominee for the national award of the same topic and was one of the many nominees up for the award around the country. Robinson was recognized recently for this nomination and his RSC honor.
