MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- IU East defender Brooke Conway powered the Red Wolves to three shutouts and was named River States Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for Oct. 15-21.

A sophomore from Noblesville, Ind., Conway spearheaded a defense that stretched IU East's streak to four games without giving up a goal. In three games last week, the Red Wolves did now allow a goal with wins over Oakland City, 1-0, Brescia, 7-0, and Cincinnati Christian, 4-0.

Conway's positioning and decisions put IU East at 9-3-2 overall and 4-2 RSC. The Red Wolves host Point Park for their next game on Thursday.
