2018 RSC Volleyball Scholar-Athlete Team recognizes 55 student-athletes

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- The 2018 River States Conference Volleyball Scholar-Athlete Team recognized 55 student-athletes for their academics and athletics this season.

To be included, honorees must have a grade-point average of 3.25 or higher, be nominated by their institution and compete in volleyball for an RSC school. Indiana University Kokomo led the volleyball conference with 10 team members on the list.

The NAIA has a similar awards program, the NAIA-Daktronics Scholar-Athlete award, which is for juniors and seniors who have a grade-point average of 3.50 or higher.
