KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- River States Conference Men's Basketball once again had three ranked teams in the NAIA Division II Men's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll this week, the first rankings of the regular season. The conference had the same three ranked teams in the preseason Top 25.

IU East leads the way ranked No. 7 in this week's poll. The Red Wolves have a record of 8-3 overall and 1-0 RSC testing themselves versus four ranked teams thus far. IU East was No. 2 in the preseason but still remains in the Top 10, where it has spent much of the last two seasons.

WVU Tech moved up two spots to No. 11 this week. The Golden Bears are 9-1 overall, 1-0 RSC and take a six-game win streak into the weekend.

IU Southeast is once again ranked this week, and the Grenadiers remained at No. 20, the same place they were in the preseason. IU Southeast is 6-3 overall, 1-0 RSC

Despite a lot of newcomers to the Top 25 -- there were six teams who are now ranked after being unranked in the preseason -- the River States Conference maintained its spot with three nationally rating squads.
