Brescia's Just tabbed RSC Volleyball Setter of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Brescia (Ky.) University freshman Brittney Just led the Bearcats to a 3-0 week in conference play and was tabbed the River States Conference Volleyball Setter of the Week for Oct. 29-Nov. 4.
Just, a product of Louisville, Ky., compiled 78 assists and 19 digs in three matches last week. She averaged 7.80 assists and 1.90 digs per set while also adding three kills and three blocks on the week.
Her biggest match was 37 assists, nine digs, two kills and a block in a 3-1 victory over IU Southeast. She then added 17 assists and seven digs in a sweep of Asbury (Ky.) and 24 assists and two blocks in a 3-0 win over Ohio Christian.
Brescia is 21-15 overall, 11-5 RSC and travels to the RSC Volleyball Championship this week at IU Kokomo as the No .2 seed from th RSC West Division.
