Rio Grande earns the RSC's automatic bid to the NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship.

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- The 2018 River States Conference Men's Soccer Championship qualifiers and pairings have been announced at RiverStatesConference.com with the conclusion of the RSC regular season on Saturday, Oct. 27. The six-team championship will take place Nov. 3, 7 and 10 at campus sites around the conference.

No. 1 seed University of Rio Grande (Ohio) (16-0, 9-0 RSC) headlines the RSC Men's Soccer Championship bracket as the RSC regular-season champion. The RedStorm is ranked No. 3 in the NAIA Top 25 Poll and will receive a bye to begin the conference postseason.

No. 2 seed WVU Tech (13-1-4, 7-1-1 RSC) will also receive a bye to begin the conference championship. The Golden Bears are "receiving votes" in the national rankings. Rio Grande and WVU Tech will host RSC semifinal games on Nov. 7.

No. 3 seed Point Park (Pa.) University (9-5-1, 5-3-1 RSC) will host No. 6 seed Brescia (Ky.) University (7-9-1, 4-4-1 RSC) in an RSC quarterfinal matchup on Nov. 3. The Pioneers lost at Brescia, 1-0, during the regular season. The winner will move on to play at WVU Tech.

No. 4 seed Asbury (Ky.) University (9-7-1, 5-3-1 RSC) will welcome No. 5 seed IU East (9-9, 5-4 RSC) in a quarterfinal game on Nov. 3. Asbury beat IU East, 3-1, during the regular season but was edged out by Point Park for the No. 3 seed by virtue of head-to-head result. The Asbury-IU East winner will advance to play at Rio Grande.

The RSC Championship final match will be Nov. 10 at the highest remaining seed. The RSC Championship winner will earn the conference's automatic qualification to the NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship.
