WVU Tech's Justice picks up RSC Women's Basketball Player of the Week

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- WVU Tech guard Brittney Justice averaged 22.0 points, 15.5 rebounds and 3.5 steals per game in two RSC wins last week to earn River States Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for Nov. 26-Dec. 2.

A 5-7 sophomore from Danese, W.Va., Justice had two huge double-doubles of 22 points and 12 rebounds in a 75-61 win over Ohio Christian and then 22 points and 19 rebounds in a 76-64 victory over IU East. She made 15 of 30 field goals, 4 of 8 3-pointers and 10 of 11 from the foul line (91 percent) on the week.

The victory over OCU included three steals. She grabbed four steals versus IU East. Justice played all 40 minutes versus the Red Wolves and 38 minutes and 24 seconds versus OCU.

WVU Tech (5-5, 2-0 RSC) will host Carlow on Tuesday for its next game.
