RSC Women's Basketball Scholar-Athlete Team names 62 honorees for 2017-18
NEW ALBANY, Ind. -- The 2017-18 River States Conference Women's Basketball Scholar-Athlete team includes 62 honorees for this year. All 13 RSC schools were represented on the list.
The RSC Scholar-Athlete Team is for student-athletes who have a grade-point average of 3.25 or higher, participate in an RSC sport and are nominated by the school. University of Rio Grande (Ohio) led the conference this year with nine honorees, and Carlow (Pa.) University was second with eight.
The NAIA has a similar awards program, the NAIA-Daktronics Scholar-Athlete award, which is for juniors and seniors with a 3.50+ GPA. The following are the conference winners for 2017-18.
