Midway's Lawler claims RSC Women's Golfer of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Midway University senior Kathryn Lawler led the Eagles at the UNOH Spring Invitational to claim River States Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for March 19-25.
Lawler, a native of Georgetown, Ky., had two rounds in the 80s to place 10th of 55 golfers at the tournament. She opened up with an 81 and followed that with an 88. Her two-day total of 169 led Midway to 10th place of 17 teams in the standings.
Midway will next compete in the Marian Spring Invitational April 2-3.
