WVU Tech's Ecker-Randolph runs to RSC Men's Track Athlete of the Week

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- WVU Tech freshman Michael Ecker-Randolph won the 1,500 meters at the Glenville State Invitational to gain River States Conference Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week honors for April 2-8.

The St. Petersburg, Fla., product posted a time of 4:09.79 for a personal-record. That beat a field of 12 runners at the NCAA Division II event. The victory by Ecker-Randolph led WVU Tech to a fifth-place finish as a team.

The Golden Bears have their next competition Friday at the Cumberlands (Ky.) Invitational.
