Point Park's Lowery picks up another RSC Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Point Park University jumper Andre Lowery picked up his second weekly honor of the outdoor season as he is the River States Conference Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for April 16-22.
Lowery, a junior from Shaker Heights, Ohio, won the long jump at the Don Frail Invitational hosted by Marietta College. He did so with a leap of 6.97 meters, which continued to further his own school record in the event. On the track, Lowery ran the 200 meters and was a part of Point Park's B team for the 4x100 relay.
Point Park is back in action this Friday when it hosts the River States Conference Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championship in Pittsburgh.
